List of Electronic Projects

• Remote-control system This is a simple remote control system using DTMF encoders and decoders. The medium used is FM radio.
• μP-based Digital Voice recorder Here is my 6th sem college project, which I did with my group members Venkatesh HB and Gautham Krishnamurthy. Records up to 4 minutes of audio onto Flash data-storage chips.
• Ni-Cd Battery charger This is an automatic Ni-Cd/NiMH battery fast-charger. It can charge up two AA-size NiCd cells in about three hours. Automatically switches to trickle charge when charging is complete.
• Dynamic Noise Reduction This is a project straight out of a National Semiconductor application note. It helps to drastically reduce the effect of tape-hiss on cassette-recording.
• My First Amplifier My first audio power-amplifier. Resulted in fireworks!
• PC-based stepper motor driver Makes use of a PC's parallel port to control a stepper motor salvaged from an old 5¼" floppy disk drive.
• Four-hour timer A timer to switch off an appliance after four hours. Can be extended further.
• Atmel AVR In-System Programmer Can be used to program Atmel AVR MCUs using an IBM PC's printer port. Compatible with the Kanada Systems STK-200 starter kit and programmer interface.
• LED Level meter This little project is useful as an audio level meter.
• Digital Voltmeter Here is a good interfacing project, using a PC as a digital voltmeter.
• Audio Signal Source Useful for home laboratories, to produce test signals for injection into audio circuits
• DSBSC Modulator and DPSK demonstrator Produces DSBSC modulation of an analog input signal, or DPSK modulation of a digial input signal.
• Six-channel Mixer and Amplifier Audio mixer project. Has six microphone inputs, line-out, line-in and auxilliary inputs. Includes master volume/tone control and a stereo 68W (RMS) per-channel amplifier.
• High Resolution Digital Voltmeter A six-digit DC/True-RMS AC Digital Voltmeter with a PC interface.
• MOSFET Integrated Power Amplifier An integrated power amplifier/preamp, with MOSFET output stages, a microcontroller (PIC16F84) to set the volume, balance, Bass Boost and input source, LCD display and remote control.
